We are seeking a skilled Category Manager to lead our IT Procurement team at OCS UK & Ireland. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for creating and executing a category management plan to drive value and reduce costs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a category management strategy to optimize IT procurement spend.
- Lead cross-functional teams to negotiate and manage IT procurement contracts.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks in the supply chain.
- Deliver annual savings targets and ensure timely invoicing and collection of procurement revenue.
- Manage and run end-to-end sourcing activities for high-risk/value opportunities.
- Identify, evaluate, negotiate, and contract with new suppliers.
About You:
- Must have the right to work in the UK.
- IT procurement experience is essential, as is senior stakeholder management.
- Results-driven with exceptional negotiation skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Commercially focused with a proven track record of cost reduction.
- Demonstrable knowledge of owning supplier management and performance measurement.
- Strong project management skills, including cross-functional team management.
- A strong negotiator who understands TCO and utilizes SRM to achieve best value.
- Ability to build sustainable and productive relationships with suppliers.
Desirable:
- CIPS qualification.
