English Teacher Required

Prospero Teaching is seeking a qualified English Teacher to work at a Secondary School in the Wickford area.

Key Details

  • Location: Wickford, Essex
  • Position: Secondary English Teacher
  • Contract Start Date: ASAP
  • Contract Type: Temp/Perm
  • Hours: 8:30 am - 4:00 pm, Monday to Friday (term time only)
  • Minimum Rate of Pay: £140 per day

Requirements

  • Degree (2:1 or above) in any subject
  • GCSE English and Maths grade 'C'
  • QTS/QLTS required
  • Experience working within a school

Eligibility Criteria

  • Hold Right to Work in the UK
  • Hold an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application
  • Provide two professional child-related references

Prospero Teaching is acting as an employment business/education recruitment agency in relation to this vacancy. The successful candidate will be required to register with Prospero Teaching to fill this vacancy. We offer free, accredited continued professional development courses, including safeguarding and behaviour management, and an in-house Training and Development Team.
