Pet Store Assistant Manager

Pets Corner UK is seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Assistant Manager to join our team in Ripon. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, assessing customer needs, and recommending our products and services.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver outstanding customer service and go the extra mile for every customer
- Assess customer needs and recommend Pets Corner products and services
- Work with the Store Manager to identify improvements and maximize store sales and performance
- Lead by example, motivating and developing the team using our Pets Corner Curriculum
- Maintain high standards, ensuring products are stocked, presented, and clean
- Keep up-to-date with pricing, promotions, and merchandising
- Hold key responsibilities, including opening and closing the store
- Maintain accurate inventory, checking deliveries, and investigating stock losses
- A genuine interest in the Pets Corner vision, products, and values
- Strong team focus with the ability to lead and motivate others
- Excellent communication skills
- A passion for customer service and building strong relationships with customers and their pets
- A thirst for continued personal training and development
- The drive and determination to work as part of a busy team or under your own initiative
