About the Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled Global Network Engineer to join our fast-growing logistics organisation. As a key member of the IT team, you will play a critical role in deploying, maintaining, and supporting global networks (LAN, WAN, WLAN) as well as managing security hardware and software.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Deploy, maintain, and support global networks, including LAN, WAN, and WLAN.
  • Manage security hardware and software, including firewalls, VPN solutions, and network access control.
  • Conduct regular network security audits to ensure performance and reliability.
  • Develop and implement network security policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with IT teams to ensure security is integrated into new systems and applications.

We require a dedicated professional with a strong technical background in network and security solutions. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience with Cisco network support and a good understanding of TCP/IP and network segmentation.

Additionally, we require:

  • Experience supporting multi-site Layer 2 and Layer 3 networks.
  • Familiarity with Cisco hardware and software, including Meraki.
  • Experience with network monitoring solutions and RADIUS/TACACS.
  • Excellent documentation skills, including experience with Visio and Microsoft Office.

The salary for this role is estimated to be around £55,000-£65,000 per annum, depending on experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer hybrid working, generous benefits, and a supportive culture that values work-life balance.
