About the Role

The Client Portfolio Analytics Associate will play a crucial role in the London Client Reporting & Portfolio Analytics team at Neuberger Berman. This position requires collaboration with various teams, including Portfolio Analytics, Client Service, Portfolio Management, Marketing, RFP, and Legal, to deliver strategic and tactical marketing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop Client Reports and Portfolio Review Decks

Understand the firm's global fixed income strategies to create in-depth client reports and portfolio review decks.

Run Performance Attribution Reports

Run performance attribution reports and ad-hoc queries to identify the main drivers of portfolio performance.

Deliver Analytics Reporting Requirements

Assist the team in delivering global clients' analytics reporting requirements in accordance with established investment management agreements (IMAs).

Provide Data Insights and Support

Function as a point of contact for data regarding portfolio exposures and summary statistics, delivering accurate and timely responses.

Develop Reporting Tools and Enhancements

Develop proficiency in key reporting tools, create report content, and partner with IT to drive enhancements to end-client deliverables.

Participate in Strategic Initiatives

Participate in firm-wide, client service-related strategic initiatives.

Work on Key Projects

Contribute to key projects to create time-saving efficiencies for the global team.

Communicate Effectively

Communicate effectively with investment strategy subject matter experts, incorporate edits based on instructions from investment, sales, and legal teams.

Develop Python Scripts

Develop and maintain Python scripts for data analysis and workflow automation.

Requirements
  • Experience with Python

Experience using Python to automate workflows.

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint Skills

Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills required.

Education and Experience

Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Business, Science, or Math's preferred. 4+ years post-graduate experience in asset management preferred.

Knowledge of Financial Markets

Knowledge of financial markets, fixed income, interest in investment strategies, and security-level analysis such as performance attribution.

Analytical and Statistical Skills

Analytical and comfortable working with and interpreting statistics and fixed income market data.

Presentation Skills

Prior experience building presentations, including graphic and data slides.

Team Player

Highly motivated team-player with a desire to work on a wide range of projects, collaborative, and self-starter.
