Construction Project Estimator for Mechanical Projects

We are seeking a skilled Construction Project Estimator to join our team at Mactech Energy Group. As a key member of our mechanical construction team, you will be responsible for providing estimating and subcontract control support to projects.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process and submit measure packages for customer invoicing, ensuring accuracy and timely submission.
- Manage document collection and stakeholder liaison, maintaining effective communication with customers and stakeholders.
- Handle customer queries and valuation conversions, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Oversee subcontract management, including PWHT, to ensure compliance with regulations and company standards.
- Prepare and issue pricing documentation to subcontractors, clearly outlining terms and conditions.
- Develop budgets and obtain customer approval, working closely with cross-functional teams to deliver results.
- Manage subcontractor instructions and change management, facilitating smooth project execution.
- Track QA documentation and final measures, ensuring high-quality outcomes.
- Ensure robust query resolution and invoice processing, minimizing delays and errors.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years' quantity surveying experience in mechanical construction, with a strong understanding of engineering principles and commercial practices.
- Essential: Engineering or commercial qualification, such as a degree in Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or related field.
- Desirable: Additional qualifications in IT, document control, or stakeholder management would be beneficial.
- Proven ability in subcontractor management, with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
