About the Role:

As a Senior Systems Engineering Manager at Pertemps, you will be responsible for leading a growing team of Systems Engineers in the development and implementation of cutting-edge engineering solutions. This is a new role due to a period of growth within the company, and you will have the opportunity to shape the direction of the team and drive results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Concept to customer commissioning and field trials
  • Apply best-practice engineering principles to ensure on-time delivery, within strategic operational budget and to specification
  • Work at the core of our engineering and product development teams using Systems Engineering tools and methods to bring clarity from ambiguity
  • Translate product visions into clear and concise requirements using Systems Engineering processes
  • Develop Functional, Logical, and Behavioural architectures to understand the operations and flow of the System using Model Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) methods

Requirements:
  • Systems Engineering Degree, or demonstrable equivalent
  • More than 5 years' experience of practical application of best-practice Systems Engineering in a relatable engineering industry
  • Excellent influencing and negotiation skills at multiple organisational levels and able to collaborate across multiple cross-functional teams
  • High level of integrity and accountability with a results-driven mindset, able to set the standard, and hold people accountable to deliver
  • Experience of effectively coaching others
