Job Type: Full-time

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced SEN teaching assistant to join our team at Teach Now. As an SEN teaching assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting pupils with special educational needs in a school environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tailored support to pupils with special educational needs, including those with physical disabilities, learning difficulties, and behavioural or emotional needs.
  • Assist in the classroom with the implementation of the curriculum and provide creative activities and supervision of pupils.
  • Build relationships with young people and remain calm in challenging situations.
  • Motivate and encourage pupils to reach their full potential.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience of working with SEN pupils is desirable, although not essential.
  • Good level of literacy and numeracy skills.
  • Previous experience of working in a school environment.
