About the Role
AO is seeking a skilled Transport Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a vital part in ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of our warehouse and transportation services.
As a Transport Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing and working with our warehouse and delivery teams to ensure that our objectives and KPIs are met. You will provide support to the warehouse, ensuring that everything runs smoothly and that the company operates with full compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and motivate individuals to achieve team goals
- Stay up to date with legal requirements and transport legislation
- Adhere to HR processes and procedures, including investigations and disciplinary meetings
- Set clear expectations for drivers and proactively address any concerns
- Oversee daily tasks and ensure proper delegation
- Update and manage daily and weekly reports
About You
We are looking for a candidate with a solid understanding of transport legislation and strong people management skills. You should be confident in your ability to navigate potential vehicle issues or damages and be a problem solver with the ability to make key decisions.
