About the RoleAs a Senior Nursery Room Leader, you will be responsible for guiding and supporting our team of practitioners in providing high-quality care and education to children. You will work closely with the nursery management team to ensure the smooth operation of the setting.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- To be the third in charge at the nursery, working closely with the management team
- To ensure every individual child's needs are met, including supporting parents with any SEND/ASL needs as a keyworker
- To take ownership of observations, assessments, and planning for your key children in line with EYFS and provide developmentally challenging next steps
- To guide, coach, and manage our team of practitioners, encouraging and praising children's development and achievements
- To have FUN
We are looking for a candidate who holds a Level 3 Childcare qualification and has previous experience as a Senior Nursery Room Leader, Senior Nursery Room Manager, or Senior Nursery Practitioner.
