Hygiene Manager Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Hygiene Manager to join our client's team in Bicester. As a key member of the operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness across the facility.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Create and implement cleaning schedules and protocols to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Develop and maintain a business hygiene strategy, including the purchase of new equipment and resources as needed.
  • Lead and train staff on cleaning procedures and ensure they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
  • Conduct regular internal inspections to drive effectiveness, efficiency, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with suppliers and customers to ensure the highest standards of hygiene and cleanliness are maintained.

Requirements:

  • Level 3 Food Safety and HACCP certification (ideally) or Level 2 as a minimum.
  • COSHH training and experience.
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, with the ability to coach and develop others.
