We are looking for an experienced Environmental Health Lead Officer to join our team at the Royal Borough of Greenwich. As part of our Private Rented Property Licensing Team, you will play a crucial role in enforcing regulations and providing support to tenants and landlords.

In this role, you will carry out site visits to assess the condition of private rented properties, complete risk assessments, and advise on compliance. You will also be responsible for leading in licensing and enforcement work, supporting your team members in developing their skills and knowledge. Your expertise will help us maintain high standards in environmental health and ensure that our residents live in safe and healthy environments.

**Key Tasks and Responsibilities**

**Requirements and Qualifications**

  • Degree in Environmental Health or related field
  • Experience working with private sector housing/regulatory compliance processes/local authorities

**Estimated Salary:** £40,000 - £50,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
