Staff Software Engineer, Compliance Engineering Expert

The Opportunity:
We're seeking an exceptional software engineer to join our team and drive innovation in the crypto compliance space. This role offers a unique chance to think creatively, solve complex problems, and make a meaningful impact on the industry.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and develop reliable, scalable, and performant compliance systems to support our payments business.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle, ensuring operational excellence and delivering high-quality results.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, deploy, and continuously improve backend applications.
- Drive engineering excellence by implementing and promoting standard processes for coding, testing, and deployment.
- Provide technical leadership and mentor junior engineers to foster growth and development.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a strong background in Java and Spring/Spring Boot.
- Experience in building systems backed by modern persistence technologies, preferably in payments/banking/e-commerce domains.
- Proficiency in at least one web frontend framework, such as Node Js, React JS, or Angular Js.
- Experience with Agile development of distributed services, focusing on robust software design, scalability, and security.
- Experience building cloud applications on AWS, with technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Ability to own the end-to-end delivery of large, sophisticated features.
- Passion for sharing knowledge and driving engineering standard processes.
- BS or equivalent experience in Computer Science or a related field.
