Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Residential Environment Manager to lead our housekeeping team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and order in our residents' living spaces.

About the Role

This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and organized individual to take on a leadership role within our organization. As Residential Environment Manager, you will oversee the daily operations of our housekeeping team, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively. Your primary responsibility will be to manage staff and rotas, ensuring that our residents receive the best possible service.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Staff Management: Manage a team of housekeepers, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet their performance targets.
  • Cleaning and Sanitizing: Oversee the cleaning and sanitizing of residents' apartments, common areas, and other facilities.
  • Maintenance of Common Areas: Ensure that common areas, such as lounges and dining rooms, are clean and well-maintained at all times.
  • Laundry Services: Assist with laundry services, including collecting, washing, drying, and ironing residents' clothing and linens.
  • Waste Disposal: Ensure that waste is disposed of properly, including recycling and composting.
  • Cleaning Supplies: Maintain an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment, ordering additional items as needed.
  • Special Requests: Respond promptly to special requests from residents, such as extra cleaning or assistance with moving.


Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:
  • Previous Management Experience: Proven experience in managing a team, ideally in a customer-facing environment.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: A strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, able to work effectively with residents, staff, and other stakeholders.
  • Teamwork: Ability to work independently and as part of a team, contributing to a positive and supportive work environment.
