We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Adolescent Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Priory Hospital Roehampton. As an inpatient CAMHS Consultant, you will be responsible for providing high-quality psychiatric care to adolescents with eating disorders.
Key Responsibilities- Clinical Leadership: Serve as the Consultant and Responsible Clinician within the Multidisciplinary Team, taking overall responsibility for patient care and treatment plans.
- Assessment and Management: Assess and manage cases, collaborating with patients, carers, and external stakeholders, and chairing MDT/CPA Meetings.
- Report Preparation: Prepare and supervise reports for Mental Health Act Review Tribunals & Managers Hearings.
- Unit Governance: Contribute to unit governance through expertise and leadership, ensuring the ward complies with organizational and regulatory requirements.
- Medical Qualifications: MBBS or equivalent Medical Degree and MRCPsych.
- Registration: Full GMC registration with a license to practice and registration on the specialist register with CAMHS CCT/CESR, along with valid AC Status.
- Experience: Experience and knowledge in CAMHS, including significant experience in inpatient CAMHS and treating disordered eating.
- Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
