Job Opportunity: Ecological Consultant

The Skills Coalition is seeking an experienced Ecological Consultant to join our Environmental and Sustainability Division. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a variety of clients across the rail infrastructure sector and other industries.

As an Ecological Consultant, you will be responsible for:

· Conducting Ecological Impact Assessments (EIA) to identify potential environmental risks and opportunities.

· Preparing a range of ecological reports, including surveys and assessments, to inform client decisions.

· Collaborating with clients, project managers, and stakeholders to deliver high-quality ecological services.

· Working with our clients' Arboriculturalist teams to ensure comprehensive ecological solutions.

· Liaising with clients and stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored ecological services.

Our clients will provide all necessary training, equipment, and support to ensure your success in this role.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you will have:

· A degree in Ecology or a related field.

· Membership of the Chartered Institute of Ecology and Environmental Management (CIEEM).

· A full UK driving license.

· Excellent report writing and communication skills, with the ability to work to deadlines.

The following would be advantageous:

· Protected Species Licenses.

· Demonstrable consultancy experience in ecological services.

Working Arrangements

This role will require you to work across the UK, with opportunities to work on a variety of projects and with different clients.
