Our team at Meallmore is seeking a Housekeeping Assistant to join our Culduthel Care Home team. We provide high-quality 24-hour personalised nursing care for older people, including those living with dementia and its related conditions.

As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining a safe and hygienic environment by performing daily cleaning and sanitisation of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities. You will also handle laundry and ensure proper handling of residents' personal items.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform daily cleaning and sanitisation of resident rooms, common areas, and facilities.
  • Handle laundry and ensure proper handling of residents' personal items.
  • Restock and maintain supplies in resident rooms and common areas.
  • Adhere to infection control protocols and safety guidelines to protect the health of our residents.
  • Communicate effectively with residents and staff to meet their needs and address any concerns.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in housekeeping or a related field is preferred but not required.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Compassionate, patient, and respectful attitude.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
