Connaught Resourcing is a leading health and social care recruitment agency, specializing in integrated urgent care services across the NHS 111, 999, and urgent care settings.

We are seeking to expand our pool of Advanced Clinical Practitioners to support locum shifts in GP Practices across Somerset and Devon.

The role primarily involves 15-minute face-to-face appointments, with occasional telephone triage and home visits. As a driver, you must be able to travel to various locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop tailored treatment plans.
  • Administer medications and treatments with precision.
  • Perform clinical procedures with attention to detail.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Provide patient education on health management and preventive care strategies.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Advanced Clinical Practitioner (Nurse or Paramedic) with relevant certification or equivalent experience.
  • Must be an independent prescriber.
  • Demonstrated experience in patient care within a clinical setting.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication with patients and colleagues.
  • Commitment to upholding the highest standards of clinical practice.
