We are seeking a seasoned Project Director to lead the execution of offshore wind projects. This role focuses on managing project activities after the contract has been signed, ensuring the successful delivery of wind turbine solutions in collaboration with clients and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Post-Contract Project Management: Take full ownership of project execution after contract signing, ensuring seamless coordination between the OEM, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Turbine Delivery & Installation: Oversee the scheduling, logistics, and delivery of wind turbines, ensuring they are manufactured, transported, and installed according to project timelines.
  • Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for the client, addressing inquiries, managing expectations, and ensuring all commitments are met throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Offshore Wind Expertise: Utilize deep knowledge of offshore wind projects and turbine technology to drive efficiency and quality in project execution.
  • Coordination with Engineering & Manufacturing Teams: Collaborate closely with internal engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to ensure turbines are built and delivered in compliance with contract specifications.
  • Risk & Issue Management: Identify potential risks and proactively implement solutions to ensure project continuity, from equipment production to site commissioning.
  • Compliance & Quality Control: Ensure that all project activities adhere to technical, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Progress Monitoring & Reporting: Maintain clear and regular communication with internal teams and the client regarding project progress, milestones, and any issues that arise.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in project management within the wind energy industry
  • Strong understanding of turbine manufacturing, delivery, and installation processes.
  • Ability to manage complex projects post-contract signing, ensuring successful project completion within set deadlines and budget.
  • Exceptional communication and problem-solving skills with a client-oriented approach.
  • Experience working in offshore wind projects, with in-depth knowledge of industry standards and regulatory frameworks.
