Jenson Fisher Consulting Ltd is seeking a skilled Credit Controller to join their finance team on a permanent, full-time basis. As a dynamic and successful business, they require an experienced professional to manage their credit control functions.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and be able to work independently with a strong eye for detail. They will be responsible for:
- Posting and allocating cash transactions.
- Managing the ledger, identifying customers to contact directly for overdue debt, and escalating where necessary.
- Coordinating payment plans and taking card payments.
- Setting up new customers on the finance system.
- Liaising with Customer Services to ensure accurate clearance of items.
- Preparing data for solicitors where necessary for collection.
- Performing other ad hoc tasks as identified.
To succeed in this role, the candidate must be able to remain calm under pressure and possess excellent time management skills. They will be part of the wider finance team and will work closely with colleagues to achieve business objectives.
