About The Role

EKFB is proud to have been appointed by HS2 to deliver civil engineering works across an 80km section of the new high speed rail link between the Chiltern Tunnel and Long Itchington Wood.

We are seeking a highly skilled Site Engineer to join our team based in Chipping Warden. The successful candidate will have experience working within Highways and Deep Drainage works.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with the Sub Agent and Section Foreman to allocate labour, plant and materials to carry out M&E works activities to the required standards, programme and budget.
  • Work with the setting out team to ensure smooth delivery of M&E works activities.
  • Responsible for the performance and development of M&E Sub-Contractors and resolving technical problems on site.
  • Coordinate with various contractors to ensure timely delivery of projects.
  • Assist with the production of programmes, progress reports, resource and cost plans, and contribute to financial forecasting.
About You
  • HNC/Degree (Construction/M&E related) or equivalent.
  • Hold a CSCS - White, White-Yellow, Red - Experienced, Black - Manager or Gold - Supervisor.
  • Previous structures experience is preferred.
  • Demonstrate knowledge and practical application of Site Engineering activities within highways and deep drainage works.
  • Hold a driving license and have access to a vehicle.
