We are seeking a highly skilled Financial Crime Consultant to join our team at AML Intelligence Ltd. The successful candidate will have strong experience in a relevant financial crime/governance/compliance/risk/internal audit role.

Job Description

The primary responsibility of this role is to provide high-quality support to clients in relation to Anti-Money Laundering (AML), Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF), and Proliferation Financing (PF) compliance. This includes conducting reviews, assessments, and look-back investigations for firms across various sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting clients with regulatory-driven reviews, including Skilled Person Reviews (s166)
  • Conducting sanctions compliance reviews and look-back investigations
  • Performing independent assessments of financial crime frameworks, policies, procedures, and controls
  • Designing and delivering Financial Crime Business Wide Risk Assessment (BWRA)
  • Creating and testing Customer Risk Assessment models
  • Testing operational effectiveness of financial crime controls
  • Designing, delivering, and assuring financial crime compliance and remediation programs
  • Assessing and redesigning financial crime operating models
  • Developing and delivering financial crime training

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • A strong background in financial crime/governance/compliance/risk/internal audit
  • Familiarity with the UK, EU, and global regulatory framework regarding financial crime compliance
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Strong time management and prioritization skills
  • A flexible, adaptable, and professional approach to work and clients

Salary Information

This role offers a competitive salary of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Additionally, you can expect a range of benefits, including opportunities for professional development and growth within the company.
