Clyde & Co is a leading global law firm seeking an experienced Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team. As a key member of our financial operations department, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless vendor management and compliance with financial policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities



  • Monitor and maintain accurate records of incoming supplier requests, ensuring timely processing and validation of information changes within the 3E database.
  • Collaborate with the procurement team to ensure efficient creation and maintenance of vendor records, facilitating seamless transactions and minimizing disruptions.
  • Assist in maintaining a tracker to monitor vendor status, ensuring compliance with financial policies and procedures.
  • Liaise with the accounts payable team across the UK to promote best practices and optimize processes, ensuring quick and seamless supplier creation journeys.
  • Support audits and inquiries related to accounts payable, demonstrating expertise and confidence in financial operations.
  • Work closely with the procurement team to identify areas for process improvement, driving efficiency and effectiveness in vendor management.

Essential Skills and Qualifications



  • Excellent Microsoft Excel skills, with experience in data analysis and reporting.
  • Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and precision.
  • Excellent inter-personal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Maintain a positive 'can-do' attitude, adapting to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • First-rate organisational skills, prioritising competing workloads and managing multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Elite experience in 3e, or similar systems, ideal for this role.
  • Understanding of VAT regulations, with experience in applying these principles in a commercial setting.
  • Strong numeracy skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex ideas simply.
