Internal Audit Manager

We are seeking a highly experienced Internal Audit Manager to join our team at RSM. As a key member of our Risk Assurance team, you will be responsible for managing a portfolio of internal audit clients and ensuring the timely and accurate delivery of complex technical audits.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in internal audit and controls, with experience of working with listed and large private businesses. You will be a skilled communicator with excellent technical knowledge of internal audit processes and relevant sector issues.

As a Senior Internal Auditor, you will be responsible for performing higher-level audit assignments, monitoring the effectiveness and quality of audit work, and preparing initial draft client audit strategies and annual audit programmes.

You will also be responsible for representing RSM in audit matters, ensuring the effective planning and utilisation of team members, and engaging with clients to deliver exceptional service.

We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership qualities, excellent written and oral communication skills, and the ability to anticipate and lead change with confidence.

This is a permanent role based in Manchester, with the opportunity to work with a diverse range of clients and develop your skills and expertise in internal audit and controls.
