Economic Growth and Policy Development

HM Treasury is seeking a Quantitative Expert for Economic Growth to join its team. As a key member of the department's analytical unit, you will provide high-quality analytical support to policymakers and officials developing economic policies.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in economics, mathematics or statistics, as well as excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. You will work closely with senior policymakers and officials to develop and implement evidence-based policies that drive economic growth.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum (dependent on experience)

As a Quantitative Expert for Economic Growth, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and applying advanced econometric models to inform policy decisions
  • Analysing large datasets to identify trends and patterns that inform policy development
  • Collaborating with policymakers and officials to design and implement evidence-based policies that drive economic growth
