Job Description

At Driver Provider UK, we strive to be the gold standard recruiter for the transport sector. We are currently seeking a reliable and skilled Class 2 HGV driver to join our team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering goods to multi-site retailers, smaller local independent retailers & merchants, or house builders. The role requires a high level of attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan and execute daily delivery routes, ensuring timely and efficient delivery of goods.
  • Conduct thorough checks on load items, security, and necessary equipment and paperwork before departure.
  • Unload goods at customer premises safely and efficiently, taking into account the care and attention for the general public.
  • Adhere to transport legislation and take regular breaks in accordance with the rules in place.
  • Be aware of the legal load capacity of the vehicle to be driven.

Licence/Certifications:

  • Driving Licence
  • Driver CPC
  • Tacho
