Specialist Autism Teacher

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate SEN Primary Teacher to join our team at Brookthorpe Hall School, part of Options Autism. As a key member of our educational team, you will deliver high-quality teaching and care to pupils with complex needs, including autism and SEMH.
**Key Responsibilities:**
* Delivering a varied range of subjects to meet the needs of our pupils
* Preparing and planning teaching sessions, maintaining awareness of curriculum developments
* Writing and implementing individual education plans, assessing educational attainment, and setting challenging targets
* Building relationships with pupils, encouraging their interest and participation in their education
**Requirements:**
* Hold Qualified Teacher Status
* Experience of teaching a range of subjects at Primary Level, delivering teaching at a good or outstanding level
* Knowledge of current education issues in relation to practice, process, and curriculum
* Experience or interest in working within an SEN setting, supporting pupils with challenging behaviour (SEMH/ASD)
**What We Offer:**
* A competitive salary range of £36,925.00 - £42,200.00 per annum, dependant on experience/qualifications
* A 40-hour working week, Monday to Friday 8:30 am - 4:30 pm
* A permanent, term-time only contract
