Job Overview

We're seeking a skilled Sub-Agent to join our Infrastructure HPC team at Kier Group. As a key member of our team, you'll play a crucial role in delivering permanent roads and networks that link up main buildings, enabling the power station to be commissioned and operational.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and monitoring of Performance Excellence and Health & Safety policies and procedures in line with Kier standards.
  • Ensure accurate recording of labour, plant, materials, and supply chain resources, identifying areas for development and collaborating with the Commercial Team to produce financial forecasts and cost reviews.
  • Promote integrated working with team members to foster a one-team ethos, including team development.
  • Take ownership and accountability for cost management of your section of the project, ensuring robust control of Target Cost, actual costs, and forecasts through commercial awareness and site-based systems like CEMAR.

Requirements:

  • Relevant qualifications, such as a degree or equivalent experience.
  • Excellent communication and project management skills, including leading and managing technical teams.
  • Able to take the lead with client interfaces and establish project requirements.
  • Excellent leadership and problem-solving skills.

This role requires a Government Security Check (SC) Clearance / Counter Terrorism Check (CTC), which will be conducted by the Cabinet Office's UKSV agency. Applicants with criminal convictions will be treated on a case-by-case basis.
