Direct Medics is a leading healthcare recruitment specialist recruiting Allied Health Professionals for long and short-term locum roles throughout the UK.

We are working in partnership with NHS Trusts across Scotland to recruit Band 6 Biomedical Scientists for the Diagnostics Laboratories, PRI laboratory (multidisciplinary, Blood Transfusion, Biochemistry and Haematology).

This locum position is a great way to enhance your earning potential and add to your clinical experience with opportunities ranging from 3 months to 2 years.

Requirements

  • HCPC registered Biomedical Scientist
  • Must have experience as a Specialist BMS with Specialist qualification in Blood Transfusion
  • NHS laboratory experience
  • Experience with Diamed IH500 / eTraceline would be highly desirable
  • Experience with Siemens Atellica and Advia 2120 would be beneficial
  • Right to live and work in the UK
