Semi Senior Accountant Job Vacancy

We are seeking a highly skilled Semi Senior Accountant to join our team at Public Practice Recruitment Ltd. As a Semi Senior Accountant, you will be responsible for preparing accounts for a range of clients, including sole traders, partnerships, and limited companies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation of accounts for clients
  • Preparation of management accounts
  • VAT, payroll, and bookkeeping
  • Liaising with HMRC
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving
  • Assisting with corporate and personal tax planning work
  • Managing a varied portfolio of clients
  • Supervising junior team members
  • Liaising with clients and supporting with queries

Requirements:
  • ACCA, ACA, or CA qualified or studying
  • At least two years of accountancy practice experience
  • Knowledge of accountancy software
  • Audit experience is desirable but not essential
  • High attention to detail and technically proficient
  • A positive, can-do attitude to problem-solving
  • A confident and supportive approach to mentoring
  • A team player who is eager to learn from an experienced team
  • Sound communication skills
