Salary InformationWe offer an attractive salary of £32,000 - £42,000 per annum, depending on experience, to our Registered Nurses. This competitive remuneration package reflects the importance of this role in delivering exceptional care and support services.
Job DescriptionAs a Registered Nurse with Leonard Cheshire, you will be responsible for providing the highest standards of nursing, clinical, and personal support to our customers as outlined in Person Centred Plans. You will order and administer medication, ensure safe storage, and record all information in accordance with internal procedures and NMC guidelines.
You will lead a team of support staff, ensuring the smooth and efficient management of the shift. You will prioritize and plan, delegating relevant activities for the support team, ensuring the needs of our customers are met within a safe and caring environment.
You will support ongoing assessments, observing any changes in health and well-being. You will maintain accurate records and support customers with physical care, personal hygiene needs, and daily tasks.
Required Skills and Qualifications- Current NMC registration as a Registered Nurse.
- A thorough and up-to-date knowledge of nursing theory and best practice at the level of a qualified nurse (level 5).
- An understanding of the NMC code of conduct and relevant practice standards and guidance.
- Effective nursing practice in all basic registered nurse procedures.
- Flexibility to work rostered hours and on-call rota as required.
