Cranswick Country Foods Preston in Hull is seeking to expand its days and recruit for production operative positions on a full-time and 4on/4off basis.

We are looking for self-motivated and hardworking individuals who are available to work on days. If you are looking for ongoing work full-time and the opportunity of a permanent contract, we want to talk to you.

Our client, Cranswick Country Foods Preston, is a leading UK food producer that supplies premium food to high-profile UK grocer retailers, the food service sector, and other UK and global customers.

The company has an ambitious investment program focused on market-leading technologies and site infrastructure. This, combined with the skill of their teams, ensures they consistently and efficiently deliver for their customers.

The state-of-the-art facility is home to their trading and export team, who sell their expertly butchered pork across the world.

We are seeking successful candidates who are reliable, flexible, self-motivated, and hardworking. This could lead to a permanent opportunity.

Responsibilities include:

  • Assembling raw pork products into packaging, labelling, and packing the product
  • Continuously checking the quality of products on the line
  • Following required work instructions and procedures
  • Being conscientious, enthusiastic, and willing to meet deadlines
  • Working on your own initiative and working well in a team
  • Being proactive with a desire and attitude to learn and develop
  • Having an excellent attitude towards Health and Safety and working at a high standard
  • Experience with working in the industry is advantageous but not essential
  • Complying with Food Safety and Quality procedures at all times

  • Working hours: 06:00am-18:00pm 4on/4off
