Kilwaughter Minerals Ltd is a leading manufacturer in the industry, and we are looking for a skilled Heavy Equipment Engineer to join our team. As a Heavy Equipment Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our production plant by conducting planned preventative maintenance and responding to emergency breakdowns. This role requires strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.

You will work closely with our Production team to prioritize daily workload and plant maintenance, responding to breakdowns with urgency to minimize downtime. You will also maintain collaborative working practices, building strong relationships with all internal stakeholders. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 3 years' experience gained in a manufacturing environment or similar role. They will have a strong understanding of current H&S legislation, root cause analysis, and fault-finding experience on heavy plant machinery and systems. A 3rd level qualification in Engineering or similar, HND/HNC in Mechanical Engineering, and/or time-served Mechanical background is essential. Additionally, experience working with control & automation systems, inverter drives, HMIs, and PLCs (preferably Siemens) would be desirable.
