Compliance Professional Opportunity

The National Nuclear Laboratory seeks an experienced Operational Compliance Officer (OCO) to drive compliance excellence across our organisation.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Leadership and Supervision: lead by example, providing oversight and guidance to personnel within designated areas.
  • Compliance and Risk Management: identify potential risks, develop mitigation strategies, and ensure adherence to regulatory requirements.
  • Incident Management: promptly respond to local incidents, coordinating internal and external resources as needed.

Requirements:

  • Expertise: possess a degree-level education and significant experience in compliance roles, with a focus on nuclear safety and regulation.
  • Leadership Skills: demonstrate strong leadership abilities, guiding teams towards compliance goals.
  • Ongoing Development: stay up-to-date with evolving nuclear industry standards, best practices, and emerging technologies.
