About the Role:

We are looking for a skilled HGV Technician to join our team in Warrington, Cheshire. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine maintenance tasks, diagnosing and repairing mechanical issues with vehicles, and conducting thorough inspections to identify potential problems.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including oil changes and filter replacements
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical issues with vehicles
  • Conduct thorough inspections to identify potential problems
  • Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues
  • Order parts and materials as needed for repairs
  • Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repairs performed
Key Skills:
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to diagnose and repair vehicles
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools and equipment
  • Knowledge of automotive systems, including engines, transmissions and brakes
  • Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads to meet deadlines
  • Initiative to work autonomously if required
Required Qualifications:
  • City & Guilds/NVQ level 3 OR qualified by experience
Compensation:

£24.66 per hour + Overtime always available
