Job Summary:

We are seeking a Mental Health Dietetics Professional to join our team at Rhodes Wood Hospital, a specialist Inpatient Eating Disorder service for children and young people aged 8-18 years.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for patients, taking into account their mental health needs and dietary requirements.
  • Provide expert advice and support to patients and their families on healthy eating habits and weight management.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care transitions and effective treatment planning.
  • Liaise with the catering department to review menus, portion sizes, and special diets, ensuring patient needs are met.
Requirements:
  • HCPC registration as a Dietitian.
  • BSc in Dietetics or postgraduate diploma in Dietetics.
  • Post-qualification training and experience working with patients with eating disorders, preferably in an inpatient setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
