Job Title: Logistics Administrator

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Administrator to join our team at Hales Group Limited. As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for coordinating and managing the movement of goods and materials, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Coordinate and Manage Shipments: Plan and arrange shipments in the most cost-effective way, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Liaise with Couriers and Customers: Work closely with couriers and customers to ensure efficient logistics operations, including coordinating the collection and delivery of goods with freight forwarders in the UK and Europe.
  • Administrative Tasks: Handle administrative tasks related to logistics, including creating shipping labels, updating databases, and preparing reports.
  • Warehouse Operations: Work closely with the warehouse team to ensure smooth and timely dispatch of goods.
  • Import/Export Documentation: Assist with the preparation of import/export documentation as needed.
Key Skills and Requirements:
  • Previous Experience: Previous experience in a logistics or supply chain role is preferred.
  • Administrative and Organizational Skills: Strong administrative and organisational skills, with the ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
  • Problem-Solving Abilities: Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities, with the ability to work well in a team environment.
