Key Responsibilities:

As a Senior Python Developer, you will be responsible for leading and managing engineering teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and secure software solutions. You will provide technical guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure engineering teams excel in delivering innovative solutions.

Technical Expertise:

  • Proven experience in software development, with a focus on automation, DevOps, and end-to-end change management.
  • Proficiency in Python (mandatory) and experience with Ansible (desirable).
  • Deep understanding of metadata acquisition, governance automation, and architecture backup processes.

Leadership and Management:

  • Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing and mentoring engineering teams.
  • Experience in stakeholder management, influencing others, and driving strategic initiatives within a large organization.

Strategic and Analytical Thinking:

  • Ability to think strategically, with experience in developing and executing technical roadmaps aligned with business goals.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to align technical initiatives with broader organizational objectives.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • In-depth knowledge of risk management and controls, particularly in the context of software development and automation.
  • Experience in ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements in a financial services environment.

Organizational and Change Management:

  • Expertise in change and transformation, with a focus on digital and technology-driven solutions.
  • Ability to manage complex organizational design and change initiatives, driving successful outcomes.
