About the Role

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Business Analyst to join our team at Car Benefit Solutions. As a Business Analyst, you will play a critical role in driving business growth and improvement by analyzing complex problems, identifying opportunities for improvement, and developing effective solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Problem-Solving: Investigate root causes of problems, identify areas for improvement, and develop solutions to address business needs.
  • Process Improvement: Research, analyze, and define current and proposed business processes; apply gap analysis to identify actions required to implement revised processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Communicate with stakeholders to understand and document their current systems/processes, and their future requirements and priorities.
  • Requirements Gathering: Use a range of tools and techniques to elicit, analyze, define, manage, and document requirements for business and IT change initiatives.
  • Training and Support: Plan, document, and deliver training to staff when new functionality (or changes to existing functionality) is being released.
  • Project Management: Provide regular updates to the Lead Business Analyst on the progress of active projects/change requests.
  • Business Improvement: Apply the principles of LEAN to recommend and deliver business improvements (not limited to IT systems) to enhance efficiencies and create value.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: Degree educated to 2:1 or above (essential). A background in Business, Business Informatics, or STEM fields would be an advantage.
  • Skills and Knowledge:
    • Ability to analyze and problem-solve both day-to-day and strategic business issues.
    • Inquisitive and confident nature where you are not afraid to ask questions.
    • Self-motivated, results-focused with a commitment to quality and attention to detail.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently with minimal guidance.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external contacts.
    • Flexible and committed approach to work.
    • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
    • Ability to take charge, anticipate challenges, and propose solutions without constant guidance.
    • An adaptable mind that thrives in dynamic environments – new teams, technologies, and trends.
    • Commitment to customer centricity across all areas of the role and interactions with internal and external customers.
What We Offer

  • Salary: £24,000 per annum.
  • Working Hours: 35 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
