Veterinary Surgical Nurse

At Vetisco, we are seeking a highly skilled and enthusiastic Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team at Abington Park Referrals. As a Referral Surgical Nurse, you will play a vital role in preparing patients for surgery, managing surgical kits, and assisting in anaesthesia for a wide range of cases.
This dynamic role offers a chance to be deeply involved in all aspects of surgical nursing within a supportive, well-equipped environment. You will have opportunities to scrub in during surgeries, conduct imaging procedures such as X-rays, CT, and MRI, and handle consults and discharges.
We offer an excellent CPD budget, a structured in-house progression plan, and support for post-graduate studies to help you advance your career. Our surgical team comprises 6 RVNs and 3 Clinicians, handling referrals from across the Midlands and beyond.
This role is based at our state-of-the-art Referral Hospital, equipped with advanced facilities, including an in-house laboratory staffed by a dedicated lab technician, CT and MRI imaging, and a specialised medical team supporting the surgical department.
SalaryWe offer a competitive salary of £30,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
Benefits- 40 hours weekly across 5 days, with shifts scheduled between 7:30 am to 7:30 pm and 1:8 Saturday mornings
