Job Description

This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires strong commercial management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a deep understanding of quantity surveying principles.

You will be responsible for providing high-quality cost control, ensuring successful delivery across a range of contracts, and safeguarding the interests of AtkinsRéalis. You will also adhere to the project commercial strategy to maximize revenue, cash flow, and EBIT.

In addition, you will support project teams in change control, provide weekly and monthly updates to project leads, and proactively engage with project teams to offer commercial support.

You will work closely with bid teams on strategic bids with clients and contractors, and help with wider market and divisional requirements as they arise.

To succeed in this role, you will need prior experience in a quantity surveying role from a main contractor or consultancy, and knowledge of contract management and change control.

You should have a solid understanding of common Forms of Contract (particularly NEC & NEC PSC) and be able to communicate effectively with others in project and business unit teams.

Required Skills and Qualifications

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced professional who possesses the following qualifications:

  • Prior experience in a quantity surveying role from a main contractor or consultancy
  • Knowledge of contract management and change control
  • Understanding of common Forms of Contract (particularly NEC & NEC PSC)
