About the Role
Llamau Ltd is seeking a Relief Worker to join our team in Young People's Services and/or Domestic Abuse & Gender Specific Services. As a Relief Worker, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, developing your skills and experience in a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the safety and security of the project and the people living there, ensuring the expected standards of maintenance and cleanliness are met.
- Engage and build professional, trusting, and respectful relationships with the people we support.
- Communicate effectively with the team and relevant partner agencies, recording and reporting all work as per procedure.
- Advocate on behalf of the people we support with statutory services, including Social Services, Health, and Emergency Services.
What We Offer
As a Relief Worker with Llamau Ltd, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, developing your skills and experience in a supportive and dynamic environment. You will receive a tailored induction, including relevant training and experiences, to ensure you have the skills and confidence to successfully lone work.
Shifts and Pay
Shifts are offered to both existing staff and relief workers, with some shifts booked slightly in advance and others for immediate cover purposes. Waking Nights (12 hours/11 hours in Dwys Agored in Swansea) are paid at £11.55 per hour, with a 15-minute hand-over period included for staff cross-over.
