Cell Biology Scientist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cell Biology Scientist to join our dynamic team at OMass Therapeutics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and perform cell-based and biochemical assays to assess the pharmacology of novel molecules.
  • Analyze data from functional and binding assays to understand the mechanisms of action of compounds.
  • Culture and maintain mammalian primary and immortalized cell lines, and perform genetic manipulation to generate new recombinant cell lines.
  • Design and perform studies to elucidate compound mechanism of action.

Requirements:

  • MSc or BSc in Cell Biology, Immunology, Pharmacology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience working with cell-based or biochemical assays to assess cell biology and/or pharmacology of novel molecules.
  • Ability to independently analyze data from functional and/or binding assays.
  • Good working knowledge of different detection methodologies, including fluorescence- and luminescence-based techniques.
