HGV Technician Wanted for Commercial Fleet Company:
We are seeking an experienced HGV technician to join our team at a reputable commercial vehicle fleet company. With an estimated salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per annum, this role offers a competitive remuneration package and opportunities for growth and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing routine maintenance, diagnosis and repairs, quality control, documentation, customer service, and team collaboration. Key responsibilities include:
- Routine Maintenance: Performing daily checks on vehicles, including oil levels, tire pressure, and brake functionality.
- Diagnosis and Repairs: Using advanced diagnostic tools to identify faults and perform repairs on heavy goods vehicles.
- Quality Control: Ensuring all work meets high standards, adhering to manufacturer specifications and industry regulations.
- Documentation: Accurate recording and updating of repair history, as well as maintaining accurate records of vehicle maintenance.
- Customer Service: Providing exceptional service to clients, responding to their queries and concerns in a professional manner.
- Team Collaboration: Working closely with other technicians and support staff to ensure smooth operations and meet deadlines.
Essential Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will require:
- Techician Qualification: A relevant trade qualification or equivalent experience.
- Experience: Significant experience working with heavy goods vehicles, with a proven track record of excellent repair and maintenance skills.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in using advanced diagnostic tools and equipment, as well as knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
- Adequate Equipment: Access to necessary tools and equipment to perform duties effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Strong attention to detail, ensuring accuracy and precision in all tasks.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment, supporting colleagues and contributing to a positive workplace culture.
