Multilingual Educator

Step Teachers is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Multilingual Educator to join our team as an MFL Teacher. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging and effective lessons in French and Spanish to students at various levels.

• Lesson Planning and Delivery: Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality lessons in French and Spanish, catering to students' diverse needs and abilities.
• Assessment and Feedback: Assess students' progress, provide constructive feedback, and support their development in a timely manner.
• Classroom Environment: Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation and enthusiasm for languages.
• Collaboration and Professional Development: Collaborate with colleagues to develop innovative teaching strategies, resources, and approaches, and participate in departmental meetings, training sessions, and professional development opportunities.
• Extracurricular Activities: Contribute to extracurricular activities and language-related events within the school community, promoting a love for languages and cultural exchange.

• Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent, and a degree in French, Spanish, or a related field.
• Subject Knowledge and Passion: Strong subject knowledge, a passion for languages and culture, and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
• Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and parents.
• Experience and Commitment: Experience teaching French and Spanish at a KS3 and KS4 level, and a commitment to ongoing professional development and staying up-to-date with best practices in language education.
