We are seeking a reliable and skilled Distribution Center Associate to join our team in Verwood, Dorset.
About the Job:The successful candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, stock rotation, and maintaining accurate records of stock movements. Additionally, they will pick and prepare orders for packing, pack orders securely, and prepare them for dispatch to customers. The ideal candidate will also maintain warehouse organisation, keeping the warehouse clean, tidy, and safe, adhering to health and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage inventory levels and stock rotation
- Pick and prepare orders for packing
- Pack orders securely and prepare them for dispatch to customers
- Maintain warehouse organisation and adhere to health and safety standards
- Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution environment (preferred)
- Basic computer literacy to handle inventory management systems
- Strong attention to detail for accuracy in order processing
- Physically fit to perform manual tasks, including lifting and moving products
- Knowledge of health and safety procedures in a warehouse setting
The salary for this role is £13 per hour, paid monthly.
