As a seasoned professional, you will lead our flagship Northwest Regional Distribution Centre, driving service excellence, operational standards, and cost optimization. Your expertise will be instrumental in delivering sales initiatives, customer engagement, and team development.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead commercial sales and operational activities, including sales development, customer retention, and customer growth.
- Create and implement a business plan for the centre, aligning with the Director's vision.
- Conduct key account management duties, analyzing financial and commercial information to monitor site performance.
- Identify and explore alternative revenue streams to maximize site profitability.
- Proactively manage performance, including talent management and succession planning, for direct reports.
- Oversee recruitment processes, working closely with HR and hiring managers to ensure timely and effective sourcing of qualified candidates.
We seek a talented individual with balanced experience in general site management and commercial sales leadership. Ideally, you have held a similar senior 'hybrid' role in the past and made it a success. Packaging-specific experience is not essential, but experience within a fast-moving distribution business is advantageous.
