Financial Reporting and Analysis Role

Grafton Banks Finance is seeking a highly skilled Management Accountant to join their team. As a key member of the finance department, you will be responsible for assisting with the preparation of monthly management accounts and contributing to the smooth running of day-to-day operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage daily cash flows, including bank transfers, invoice financing, and exchange rates
  • Perform monthly bank reconciliations and assist in the preparation of the monthly cash flow forecast
  • Develop and maintain financial KPI reports on a weekly basis
  • Calculate sales commissions and assist in the preparation of monthly management accounts and year-end accounts
  • Maintain the fixed assets register and perform monthly petty cash and credit card reconciliations
  • Update financial systems on a monthly basis and design and prepare standard and ad-hoc management reports
  • Provide holiday cover for purchase ledger and credit control tasks

The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of practical experience in finance, with strong IT skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and exposure to accounting software. Excellent communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with finance and non-finance professionals. AAT, ACCA, or CIMA qualifications are desirable.
