We're seeking a driven Mechanical Design Engineer to spearhead our engineering projects, working closely with the fabrication workshop teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

  • Develop and implement efficient customer design projects, utilising SolidWorks for machine assemblies, detail drawings, and data management.
  • Liaise with workshop teams and external partners to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Conduct costing, procurement, and FEA analysis to guarantee successful project outcomes.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • Engineering degree (HND, HNC, BSc, MSc, etc.)
  • Proficiency in SolidWorks 3D CAD modelling or similar software
  • Strong understanding of component modelling and design for manufacture
  • Hands-on fabrication experience with sheet metal, metal pressing/folding machines, and weldments
