The British Library is seeking a Programme Manager to lead the Boston Spa Renewed Programme, a £95m government-funded project to transform the library's presence in the North. The programme will deliver a state-of-the-art storage repository, public viewing gallery, and site refurbishments to improve the staff and learning offer.

As Programme Manager, you will work with British Library teams and professional consultants to scope, plan, and deliver client-led projects within the programme. You will be responsible for managing relationships with stakeholders, coordinating project activities, and ensuring the successful delivery of the programme.

The successful candidate will have experience in programme management, client relationship management, and project delivery. They will be able to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Boston Spa Renewed Programme, ensuring successful delivery of the programme's objectives
  • Manage relationships with stakeholders, including British Library teams and professional consultants
  • Coordinate project activities, including project planning, budgeting, and risk management
  • Ensure effective communication and collaboration with team members and stakeholders
  • Monitor and report on programme progress, identifying and mitigating risks as necessary
